FRIENDS-Final Presentation of Children’s Literature Course Showcases Collaborative Animation Project

 

Gowa, January 9, 2024 – Today, the final presentation for the Children’s Literature course took place, featuring a range of innovative projects by students. This event was conducted under the guidance of Mam Syahruni Junaid, S.S., M.Pd, with assistance from Ms. Aryana N. Qarimah, S.Hum, M.A.

A notable highlight of the presentation was an animation titled “FRIENDS,” created by fifth-semester students from the 2021 cohort, class AG2. This project was a collaborative effort between the English Language and Literature students and local children, who provided the character voices for the animation.

“We are incredibly proud of the students’ creativity and the successful integration of community involvement,” said Mam Syahruni Junaid. “The project exemplifies the practical application of their studies and the importance of teamwork.”

Ms. Aryana N. Qarimah added, “Working with the children brought a unique and enriching dimension to the project, making the learning experience more engaging and impactful for our students.”

The presentation was well-received, highlighting the course’s success in merging academic knowledge with real-world creativity. The animation “FRIENDS” stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the enriching experience of combining educational efforts with community involvement.
